It wasn't a clean cut, it was as if something got under one side of the belt.
It must have been quite big, more than a quarter of an inch.
I had driven about 5 Km and just stopped at a junction.
As I said, there were 2 cuts, one of which broke.
Which leads me to suspect that it happened PDQ.
